Hello everyone,
I hope this message finds you well. As I bring this petition to a drastic close, I wanted to share a few thoughts with you.
When I started this petition, my aim was to build a community—one that shared a vision, a passion, a dream of creating a space that would become a conduit of change. I wanted us to come together to make a difference, to shape our community into something more inclusive and vibrant. It might have been for us but truly I wanted a place to belong.
But as I reflect on this journey, I find myself questioning… Have I truly succeeded in that mission? Can a simple petition capture the essence of what we stand for? Can it convey the strength of our belief, or the depth of our commitment to change?
One night, as my senses tingled with doubt and contemplation, I realized that a petition alone may not change the world—or even our small corner of it. This way may not have been the most effective. But still, it sparked something within me—a fire, a thirst that won’t be quenched easily. I’ve come to see that change requires more than words on paper; it demands a movement, a unionized voice, and an unwavering commitment to action.
So, while this chapter may be ending, the story isn't over. This cause deserves more. It deserves my energy, my creativity, and my persistence. But not this way and I don't want to drag you into my fairytale. I bid thee farewell as I paddle my own canoe. ^_^
Thank you for standing with me, for believing in this dream, and for being a part of this journey. Let’s keep pushing forward for ourselves. After all, the best is yet to be. ;)
With hope and gratitude,
Sally Saq (not real name)
p.s. I never give up. It's nothing personal, I just e-mailed the teacher-in-charge. She'll reply soon.
