The Issue

I am a father of two wonderful daughters, I am trying to share the importance and joy of reading. I believe a "Little Free Library" is not just an addition to our community, but a crucial asset to foster a love of books, particularly in our younger generations. However, to make this dream a reality, we need (CDD) approval.

Little Free Libraries have become a global phenomenon. There are over 75,000 registered libraries in 88 countries according to the Little Free Library Organisation. These libraries not only improve access to literature by serving as book exchange points, but also create a sense of community and a shared love for reading. A Little Free Library in Belmont West can have same opportunity to create such an enriching environment.

Place yourself in this picture: Children, parents, and grandparents alike walking down the street and stopping by our Little Free Library. They choose a book, excited about the adventures they will embark upon through its pages, and maybe they leave a book in exchange. Our community grows with every book read and shared.

To turn this vision into reality, we need to get the CDD on board! We urge CDD to grant us approval to start our Little Free Library and contribute to the global mission of inspiring a love for reading my proposed location is by the split in the walkway by the benches off channing hill and bounding home. My family would be the registered Stewards of the location and be responsible for changing out books and upkeep.

Please, support us in our quest to build a Little Free Library in Belmont West, help us bring the joy of reading to our community. Sign this petition today.
