First, I’d like to thank you all for your support, every signature counts!!  Realizing that a clinical trial can take years to start, and some don’t have years to wait, I have formed a non-profit organization to help families bridge the financial gap between themselves and the medical grade ketones, Sodium DL-3 Hydroxybutyrate, that my son takes, as well as to raise funds for research.   

Sodium DL-3 Hydroxybutyrate is a medical grade ketone that people with certain metabolic disorders/fatty acid oxidation disorders cannot make on their own, or their body just need it to function better.  It literally helps the entire body. For those of you who know me in real life, you saw with your own eyes how miraculous this medication was for my son from his very first dose.

I took the fire I was dragged through and turned it into fuel!! The phrase “it takes a village” doesn’t exist for no reason!  Many people do not have a village to turn to, and for some that can be devastating. I am asking you all to please continue to help me help others.  In addition to asking for donations (we are in the process of obtaining the tax-exempt status and all donations will be tax exempt, so it’s really a win-win for all…woo-hoo), I am also asking for any help, ideas or information you could offer to make MikeysVillage as successful as possible.
