BOARD MEETING TONIGHT! AT 5:45 in the Leitner Auditorium

Please attend the Board Meeting tonight and voice your discontent with how the Board has handled this school. 

What has happened to the 2020 Vision? The USDA loan expires soon. 

Are donors still willing to come through? Do they trust this Board?

Is it really a good environment that this Board has created at both campuses? Many staff at the campuses are terrified to speak up in fear of losing their job. Heck, if they can force the founder and Headmaster out, anything is game in their minds. This is what many teachers have communicated to other parents. These teachers are even afraid to speak to me lest the Board detect some type of “disloyalty” in my opinion. 

What we want: Bylaws that allow for parent and teacher voting; ability to remove Board members by a 2/3 vote, and a 2 term limit, especially.  Mr. Herndon, Mrs. Sabolovic should be removed for reasons stated yesterday. Nick Longerbeam and Donna Trimble should be replaced by teacher reps that the teachers vote in. Andy Francis should be removed for Bylaws violation.

Several others have terms ending in March. Ray Maxwell’s term ends in August 2019.  They have refused to step down thus far. They should then rotate off and allow for parent voting.
