THE BOARD DOES NOT EXPECT US TO KEEP UP THE HEAT!
If you attended the first Board meeting, its important that you attend this one and sign in to speak!
Even if Joe Maimone takes a temporary position elsewhere, we won’t get him back until we “right the ship” by holding this Board accountable!
I had to hire a lawyer to compel them to give me the PUBLIC DOCUMENTS that we are all entitled to by law! In my opinion, their withholding of documents is only meant to slow down the process so that Joe Maimone would need to get a job elsewhere AND TO HIDE WHAT THEY HAVE DONE! Think about it. If Joe, comes back, what they have done will be blown wide open and they will be open to legal action.
ANYONE OF YOU CAN AND SHOULD REQUEST PUBLIC RECORDS! This includes Board Meeting packets, Emails/texts between Board members and/or Mr. Blake (especially a week before or around the date of a closed session meeting), Maintenance/Facilities committee meeting minutes, Executive Committee Minutes, Financial and Annual reports, the last 3 Headmaster job descriptions, all documents regarding bids and invoices for all projects that David Francis/Custom Building and Remodeling performed, and Curriculum Committee Minutes.
ASK THE BOARD MEMBERS WHAT PAUL FOLEY AND GARY BLAKE WERE DOING TOGETHER? (IMO, I suspect sandbagging!) WHY WERE RAY MAXWELL, GARY BLAKE, AND JOE MAIMONE SEEN AT VILLAGE COFFEE ON 5/15 AND THEN GARY BLAKE SUBMITTED HIS RESIGNATION AROUND THE NEXT DAY? It all ties in with the concerted effort to solidify their anti-Joe membership on the Board by not openly recruiting for 3 years and re-voting themselves back in!!
WE CAN GET JOE BACK BUT WE HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER TO EXPOSE THE TRUTH!! AND WHEN WE DO, WE WILL MAKE SURE TEACHERS GET THE PAY THEY DESERVE! (No more special treatment for Board members!)
Today, the first of several grievances will be filed with the State Charter School Advisory Board.
COME TO THE BOARD MEETING OCT 2nd! They don’t expect us to show up. Prove them wrong!!
