INEC should send SMS to Nigerians for PVC collection

We have still not achieved the Set Goal, I don't know of one single instance where any Nigerian has received an SMS notification from INEC for PVC collection.

INEC has to be more visible in its efforts towards organizing free and fair elections for Nigerians in 2023. This visibility will showcase the firm Will of INEC towards delivering this monumental task regardless of the myriad of challenges that confront them as the Umpire.

A process as simple as sending out SMS to Nigerians once their PVCs are ready clearly shows that they are on top of the situation and in charge of Constitutionally stipulated processes that must be observed. PVCs are still found in odd places, Nigerians are still wandering around INEC offices checking to see if their cards are ready while a lot of others don't even know what to do.

There are massive Gaps in communication between INEC and the voting public, there are huge Gaps between INEC's intentions and visible delivery. These Gaps must be closed by INEC, and the campaigns they embarked on to get people registered must be continued also to get people to collect these cards from INEC offices.

SMS is one of the simple and cheap solutions that can help fill some of these incoherent Gaps.

Once again we call on INEC to send out SMS to Nigerians as soon as their PVCs are ready for collection. This amongst other publicity campaigns will encourage participation in the forthcoming elections in 2023. This should also be done quickly.
