As I’m sure you’re all aware, Wednesday’s temperature calls for a high of 0 degrees, with windchill temperatures approaching 30 to 40 below. At these temperatures, it is possible to get frostbite if you spend only 15 minutes outside. For those students who live just off campus and walk to class, this is especially crucial for you. Some teachers have already cancelled classes, others are more reluctant. I am asking for everyone’s support in this cause to call for Indiana State to cancel all classes that meet on campus for Wednesday, January 30, for the safety of ISU students. Frostbite is a very dangerous and a very real threat.
