Dear supporters, I recently came across an article which was published on October 9, 2015 in Indian Express, which reads "Railways to provide dustbins in all 60000 coaches soon:Suresh Prabhu" https://indianexpress.com/article/india/india-others/railway-to-provide-dustbins-in-all-60000-coaches-soon-suresh-prabhu/

From the given date of the article almost three years have passed now and I hardly see dustbins in sleeper class.Whenever I see them in some trains they are not noticed and used by the public because of lack of written instructions or signages,or sheer laziness of the passengers. As described in above article Indian Railways carry over 2.5 crore passengers everyday. I feel sad thinking about how much garbage this huge number of passengers would be generating and  throwing outside of the trains on both the sides of tracks.

It seems that provision for dustbins has been made by the previous Railway Minister Shri. Suresh Prabhu, but has not been implemented fully as yet.

While travelling  I have started seeing the dustbins in few selected new trains over the period of last three months,so I feel  there is a ray of hope that we will see them in all  trains in near future
