I want to share an important issue that has personally affected my family and impacts thousands of Australians. Recently, we fell victim to relentless spamming and scam related fraud, which resulted in significant financial loss. Beyond the financial impact, this experience has been emotionally draining and has shown just how sophisticated and widespread these scams have become.
Many Australians face similar situations every year, and current laws and penalties often do not provide enough protection or deterrence. That’s why I’ve started a petition calling for stronger laws and stricter penalties, including jail time for offenders, to better protect individuals and families from these harmful practices.
