No Defence Spending increase in 2026 Budget

Today, the Chancellor John Healey announced his 2026 Budget. Sadly, he did not increase defence spending. In fact, last week he cut funding for army equipment by £2bn. He has set a target of 3% for defence spending by 2030. That's only a 0.6% increase, 4 years from now.

There are a lot of hostile countries out there, and it is as important as ever to reach 15% by the end of 2027, so that our country can feel safe.
