The Issue

Pensioners in South Africa helped build this country through decades of hard work, service, and sacrifice. Now, many face difficult circumstances, struggling to afford basic necessities such as food, medicine, and electricity.

The Old Age Grant provides essential support, but it often does not fully meet the everyday needs of pensioners. Many are forced to make impossible choices just to get by, sacrificing their own health and wellbeing to support their families.

Every South African elder deserves to live with dignity, security, and respect. The time to act is now.
