I visited the memorial last night.

Last night, my friends and I went down to the memorial of the victims who died. Our intention was to set up and play worship music, but I quickly changed my mind after hearing the almost complete silence excluding weeps and prayer circles. I didn't want to ruin that.
I went to each cross, praying over each one of them. I started sobbing and I had two victims friends come to me and comfort me, telling me stories of how great of a person they were. I stopped by the school as well and saw backpacks dropped, bicycles still parked in the bike area, amidst the array of flowers, teddy bears, candles and letters around the outside fence.
It was certainly an overwhelming experience, and one I won't forget.
And then I found out that the local news recorded me and other teens crying.
This has been something that bothers me. It's good that people get made aware of how people's emotions are hurt by the attack, but it comes off as "hey this sells well". I would much rather contact the news station and have them cover our campaign if they really want to record me. Sorry, I just wanted to share my thoughts on that.
I'm so glad we're at six thousand+ supporters and growing. We will keep fighting until the end. Hang in there all.
Until the next update,
- Christian
