I have lived within two miles of Bell Road since I was three years old and I have seen the entire city of Phoenix, especially the northwest valley, explode with rapid growth. With all this growth came crowds and traffic. Now, living at 43rd and Bell Road, getting to work at Arrowhead Mall is a nightmare. Walking takes an hour and you face harassment from drivers. The bus sometimes works but it is not very reliable; I've even been completely missed by the bus driver before.

We need to increase public transportation options in our area to alleviate these issues. Bringing light rail to Bell Road, offering more bus routes from Arrowhead Mall, and introducing streetcars in high-traffic areas like Westgate, Surprise, Downtown Glendale, and Arrowhead Towne Center would greatly improve our daily commutes.
