The Issue
First time offenders caught vaping are being charged $200-400, In an article by The Straits Times interviewing teens who have been fined for vaping said that they are “not scared of the government” and challenging them. Minister for Health Ong Ye Kung also stated that “$200-300 is not very little” but bringing durians onboard public transport is a fine of $1000. Vape offenders should also be sent for reformative training afterschool hours.
