The Honourable Mike Gaffney MLC gets it! The Member for Mersey has written to the Tasmanian Deputy Premier/Transport Minister expressing support for “an expanded option and higher quality bicycles [to put] Tasmania at the forefront of EPAC (electric pedal-assured cycles) use with the potential to further develop our visitor and domestic economy”.

This is timely support by the independent member to this regulatory change. Consultation on the regulation changes by the Department of State Growth is expected early next year. We’ll keep you posted on progress.
