In a highly globalised, overregulated and complex modern world, the opportunity to travel abroad, to work and study without visa restrictions, to meet people with similar as well as different points of view, to experience other cultures, to find new friends and one's true self is a 'must have' experience to every young person. It must not be limited to those coming from wealthy families, but to be available to any young person who believe that this journey would bring positive benefit to the life.

Working holiday visa is one of a few schemes that provides this opportunity for young people from 18 to 30, with which they can experience living abroad without undergoing the costly expenses of finding work sponsorship in advance or going on expensive university exchange programmes from those young travellers. However, every year since 2020 the COVID-19 pandemic keeps taking away this precious opportunity away from them, who instead of embarking on a 'once in a lifetime adventure' had to cancel their plans and stay locked at home. This is not fair and has to be changed.

This petition is a call to all goverments who signed up to working holiday visa scheme to increase its age limit from 30 to 35. Let those young people whose age exceeded the limit for the working holiday visa during the pandemic years to have a chance to apply for it and experience this beautiful world.
