The next target will require a wider circulation and promotion of the topic. I’ve received some great supportive messages but there are still more signatures to collect for the maximum effect. All the advice available and support from construction industry experts, media and builders themselves, does not cater for the Ltd liability “get out”. A Cowboy builder knows they can always liquidate the company and pay money into other Ltd liability companies. This leaves the consumer without any chance of legal/financial compensation as it is now.

The current lists of rogue/cowboy builders require court rulings, which as we have experienced, they can avoid. The cost of Civil Law also remains unaffordable for most, especially if the company can liquidated using Ltd liability protections.

Please continue to share/promote the petition so I can take it to our MP with as powerful a message as possible.
