Amber and Marshall Plan for Moms

The incoming CEO of Starbucks, Kevin Johnson, is starting his new job this week. Help us welcome him by sharing this short video: https://www.facebook.com/PaidLeaveUS/videos/vb.184731548554164/411354492558534/?type=2&theater¬if_t=like¬if_id=1491509514968323 We spoke with Kevin Johnson and top Starbucks executives last month to tell them that all Starbucks employees deserve equal paid parental leave. He told us that he wanted to hear more feedback. PL+US has been flooded with stories and messages from baristas about why equal paid leave is important to them and their families. We’ve put together a short video with some of their stories and need your help so Kevin Johnson makes equal paid leave a priority! Watch and share this video to help spread the word that customers and baristas stand united for paid family leave for all employees. https://www.facebook.com/PaidLeaveUS/videos/vb.184731548554164/411354492558534/?type=2&theater¬if_t=like¬if_id=1491509514968323 Currently, Starbucks’ paid parental leave policy leaves out barista dads and adoptive parents -- and it provides substantially less leave for barista moms compared to moms who work in the corporate office. After baristas traveled to Seattle to speak with Starbucks executives and deliver 80,000 petition signatures, the company is listening. Now is the time to show that more and more people want Starbucks to do the right thing and support working families. Starbucks is seen as a leader in the corporate responsibility movement. It's time for the coffee chain that claims to value families to show its support for ALL families. Share this video and help our campaign to win equitable paid family leave for Starbucks baristas. Thank you for being a vital part of our effort to win paid family leave for families everywhere. Let's win this! -Annie and the entire PL+US team
