O frame running, desporto praticado no mundo por milhares de paratletas, lamentavelmente, não foi incluído nos Jogos Paraolímpicos Paris 2024. Além de destruir desnecessariamente o sonho de muitos atletas, essa decisão é contra a inclusão social, uma vez que, além do alto rendimento, a divulgação dessa atividade irá causar resultados positivos, físicos e psicológicos, em milhões de pessoas no mundo e irá servir como alternativa barata, saudável e ambientalmente correta para a mobilidade urbana de pessoas com deficiência.

O objetivo desse abaixo-assinado é solicitar às autoridades que o frame running seja incluso nos Jogos Paraolímpicos Paris 2024, para o bem da maioria das pessoas com deficiência.

The purpose of this petition is to submit a formal request to the IPC for frame running to be included in the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. The frame running  allows individuals with Muscular Dystrophy, Parkinson's Disease, spasticity, and other disabilities that impede balance and mobility to walk and run under their own power. For some reason it was not included in the upcoming 2024 Paralympic Games. The frame running’s value in providing both competitive and athletic opportunities is unmatched for those who spend the majority of their time relying on a wheelchair or other assistive devices to make mobility a practical reality. Not having this event destroys the dreams of these athletes who have been working towards their goal of competing in their Paralympic sports of choice. I implore the IPC to reconsider adding this sport back into the 2024 Paralympic Games. Thank you in advance for your attention, consideration and forthcoming response.
