My father has a plant in his room that he likes to keep it at a certain size. One day, he cut the plant and threw it in the trash.
I have the same plant in my room and I love it. Years ago, I was so attracted to its smell that I kissed it and told it how beautiful it is. I also took a leaf and tasted the plant. The taste was incredible and fresh, and the next day the plant grew some flowers.
Now, back to the plant that my dad threw in the trash. Because I liked it so much, I felt bad that a very healthy plant (this plant can grow roots from any leaf or stem in water or soil) was in the trash.
I took it from the trash and tasted it. Its taste was foul and bitter. I immediately took action and saved the plant by putting it in water with a bit of honey and a bit of my own spit. In a few hours, after another taste, the plant lost its foul taste and only a little bitter taste remained.
This experience taught me that nurture is very important and can seriously affect nature. The plant in my room was thriving because I loved and cared for it. The plant in the trash was struggling because it was neglected.
