As a huge fan of Dreamworks and its history, I was more than thrilled when I learnt of Universal Studios' plan to replace Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone with Dreamworks Land. Imagine then, my deep disappointment when I discovered that an essential part of Dreamworks' past, The Neverhood, was omitted from the exhibit. The Neverhood is a classic point-and-click game, developed in a pioneering partnership between Dreamworks Interactive and Doug Tennapel, It had it all, funny moments, Zany Characters, A Curious Big world and deep lore. Everything that would make it great for Universal Studios It represents a significant era of the company's history and deserves its rightful place at the Dreamworks themed land.

Universal Studios' decision to overlook The Neverhood is not only a missed opportunity to celebrate Dreamworks’ rich and dynamic history but also a letdown for its fans. Therefore, we petition Universal Studios to honor The Neverhood. We recommend revamping the ET Ride into a Neverhood experience, complete with a Klaymen Meet and Greet and a newly storyboarded Neverhood Play.

This is more than just a personal request, it serves to acknowledge and preserve Dreamworks' history, and grants fans the total Dreamworks experience they deserve, Including their lesser known stuff, like Sinbad, Turbo and Too Loud. Stand with us, sign the petition and help bring The Neverhood to life at Universal Studios. Maybe once the Simpsons ride's time is up, you can make that land part of Dreamworks and Put the Neverhood there.
