For the Celina Independent School District to grant a limited, time-specific exception that would allow Coach Bill Elliott to attend and participate in Senior Night ceremonies on Friday, October 31st. This will be a pre-game event occurring before kick-off. We ask that it be recognized that Senior Night is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone for these student-athletes and their families. 

Coach Elliott has been instrumental in the development of these seniors throughout their high school careers and even prior, for many going back to pee wee tackle football.   His presence would honor the relationship between these students and their long-time coach and mentor.

This is a brief, ceremonial appearance that would not interfere with any ongoing administrative processes. 

We make this request with full respect for the District's personnel procedures and recognize the District's & School Board's responsibility to follow appropriate protocols. We are not asking the District to end the administrative leave or prejudge any ongoing processes—only to allow Coach Elliott to participate in this singular, meaningful event for our senior student-athletes. We feel strongly that these athletes should not be penalized any further for this unfortunate circumstance. 

The undersigned respectfully urge the District to grant this limited exception for Senior Night.
