I’m excited to share that we have 429 supporters of this petition now, which is not an insignificant number. So many people are waking up to the fact that LEDs are unregulated, harmful, causing light pollution, with “energy efficiency” claim based on faulty lifecycle analysis, and the list goes on.
The time is now to make your voices and opinions heard by the Department of Energy. In proposing a new rule for General Service Lamps, they’ve opened up a public comment period on all GSL rules which includes EERE-2021-BT-STD-0005 (the minimum 45 lumens per watt ruling).
