Ina Ritan è una insegnante di inglese che da anni dedica la sua vita per salvare i cani randagi di Prijedor, in Bosnia Erzegovina. Abbiamo raccontato il suo straordinario lavoro nel docufilm “Ina e gli altri” (https://youtu.be/GA7_c_wdjQk)
Ma il suo preziosissimo lavoro evidentemente non viene tollerato dalle autorità di Prijedor: Ina è oggi accusata di detenzione illegale di cani, di vendita illegale di cani e infine di trasporto illegale di cani all’estero.

Gentili autorità di Prijedor,
Ina gestisce un rifugio costruito con fatica, nel corso degli anni, grazie all’impegno diretto dell’associazione italo-bosniaca Prijedor Emergency e con il sostegno di Enpa. Lì i cani non vengono soppressi, vengono accuditi, curati e messi in adozione.
Ina (e con lei l’associazione Prijedor Emergency) non vende cani, né li “esporta” illegalmente: i cani del rifugio vengono messi in adozione all’estero per garantire loro un futuro dignitoso; futuro che in Bosnia non è garantito. Le procedure applicate per portare i cani dalla Bosnia ai Paesi degli adottanti sono molto più avanzate rispetto a quelle imposte dalla norma bosniaca: sono in linea con le procedure dell’Unione Europea.

Si deve all’impegno di Prijedor Emergency la prima campagna di sterilizzazione dei randagi a Prijedor e a Banja Luka finanziata dall’Enpa e, da marzo 2018, la massiccia campagna di sterilizzazione di massa finanziata dagli inglesi di Dogs Trust per ridurre il tasso di randagismo.

Si deve all’impegno di Prijedor Emergency - e di Ina in particolare - il buon esito di 180 adozioni di cani bosniaci all’estero solo nel 2018. Adozioni gratuite!

 
Gentili autorità di Prijedor,
amiamo la Bosnia, desideriamo per il suo popolo un futuro migliore. Ma le vostre ingiuste accuse nei confronti di Ina ci lasciano sgomenti e cancellano le nostre speranze. Vi chiediamo di collaborare con lei per risolvere il randagismo endemico, non di metterla sotto accusa!

INA RITAN IS ONE OF US AND WE ALL ARE INA RITAN

Ina Ritan is an English teacher born and bred in Bosnia Hercegovina, Ina since years and years devotes all her life to saving stray dogs in Prijedor, a rural town in the northern part of Bosnia.

We told all about her extraordinary work in our docufilm “Ina e gli altri” (https://youtu.be/GA7_c_wdjQk), but such work is not tolerated by the Authorities in Prijedor: today Ina Ritan is accused of illegal detention of dogs, illegal sale of dogs, and also of illegal transportation of dogs abroad.

To the kind Authorities in Prijedor,
Ina is managing a private shelter built with her big sacrifice during these last years and with the assistance and cooperation of the Italian no profit Association Prijedor Emergency which operates on the Bosnian territory, and also with the great support of E.N.P.A. the most important Animal Protection Association in Italy and in Europe.
At Ina Ritan’s shelter dogs are not suppressed. They are kept in the best possible condition, fed and nurtured, and once vaccinated they are put up for adoption, locally and internationally.
Ina Ritan together with Prijedor Emergency DOES NOT sell her dogs, nor she exports them on illegal basis.
International adoptions are done in order to find for these dogs the best possible family which can guarantee a quality of life that in Bosnia is totally denied. All procedures in order to drive Ina Ritan’s dogs abroad to their families are even more accurate than what the Bosnian law foresees, being in line with the EU regulations which are more strict than what the Bosnian law asks for.
We have to say thank you to Prijedor Emergency for organizing the first sterilization campaign in Prijedor and surroundings, financed by E.N.P.A. and, since March 2018, the massive sterilization campaign by the English foundation Dog Trust, all aiming at reducing drastically the number of stray dogs in the streets of Northern Bosnia.
And we all have to say thank you to Prijedor Emergency and to Ina Ritan’s efforts for finding a wonderful family abroad to each of the 180 dogs from Bosnia she saved with her own lovng hands.
And let’s not forget the fact that each of these adoptions was free of any financial charge for the adoptant!!
Dear Authorities in Prijedor. We all love Bosnia and we all wish for the Bosnian people a better future in life. But your WRONG accusations towards Ina Ritan leave us speechless and above all without any hope for a better future for our beloved animals.
We kindly ask you to support and cooperate with Ina Ritan in order to create a synergy for fighting the plague of stray dogs on your territory, and not to question her actions and accuse her of non existing facts!
