Hey, Everyone! 

Thank you all for your support! This effort has only been underway for 11 days so far, and we already collected more than 360 signatures!

We were interviewed by The Guardian today for an article about Free Water Stations programs throughout the world; this petition will be featured in that story! It should be featured next week.

On the back-end, we’re gather financial and operational info from various City and State mobile water station programs throughout the country, establishing contact with stakeholders, and drafting legislative proposals.

In the meantime, it’s important that we keep sharing this petition with friends or family in New York City. Our goal was 1,000 by Jan 1st. We’re on the right track, but we gotta keep sharing!

Partygoers, club owners, bartenders, medical providers, all agree that free water should be easily and continuously available to event guests. Requiring water stations in fixed venues, and city-owned mobile water trucks/buggies for outdoor events, are the best, most cost-effective ways to do that.
