We desperately need everyone to help with this.
As you know our son, Cal Poly freshman Jordan Grant, was killed on US 101 by a driver making an unsafe left turn into his path. That dangerous crossing at El Campo road should not be allowed. We are so close to getting the government to vote April 3 to close it. But to get that vote we need you to email right away a comment email as follows:
“To pio@slocog.org
I stand for Jordan Grant and I support restricting unsafe left hand turns at El Campo and US 101 for the sake of all families that must use 101 and that are forced to be exposed to this constant danger of unsafe left turns in front of freeway speed traffic.”
Or
“I am a Cal Poly parent/student/faculty and I support restricting left hand turns at El Campo and US 101 for the sake of our Cal Poly students and our families that are forced to be exposed to this danger by simply going to and from campus or being involved in college activities.”
to pio@slocog.org by Tuesday March 26,
(otherwise if later they will ignore it)
Also if you are a Cal Poly Student or parent of one please share on social media and email a comment (yes even on Spring Break)
To share here is a link to Jordan's Memorial page with a similar post that you can share on Facebook:
