In November 2022, the show titled "Willow" premiered on Disney+. It served as the sequel to the film also titled "Willow" from the 80's.

The original film is seen as a slightly underrated cult hit, appreciated for its humor, little people representation, fun story and much more. There was also great appreciation for its stars, Warwick Davis (Willow himself) and 80s/90s icon Val Kilmer (Madmartigan) being great prescenses. And it was directed by Hollywood icon director Ron Howard, who also directed "Apollo 13", "How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)", and the equally underrated "Solo: A Star Wars Story".

They tried for decades to get a sequel to the film made, and it finally came in the form of a Disney+ Show, one that Jon M. Chu, director of the recent smash hit "Wicked" Movies, was very close to being the helmer of.

The show came out to lesser praise generally, with some seeing it as not matching the spirit of the original film enough, whilst others saw it as similarly underrated and a proper fit for this world's continuation. It definitely has potential to even improve itself, but Disney decided cancel it. Also, viewership for the show wasn't that high, which didn't help things. So cancelling it made some sense... However, what happened immediately after cancellation still does not.

In 2023, mere months after it premiered after a decades-long wait, Disney announced they were going to remove the show completely from Disney+. Mind you, it's a Disney+ Exclusive.

Since they removed it Two Years Ago, the show had still to this day not been able to be seen, not even rented, anywhere. No physical release, no rental/purchase for it on any service, no book for it. Just... Gone.

Many people, including Warwick Davis himself, has come out decrying Disney's decision, and now Val Kilmer has sadly passed away. Now is (beyond) the time to return it to Disney+.

In Honor of his low-key iconic role as Madmartigan, and in honor of the many, many others who tried their best and made many efforts to make this show, and for others to also give it another chance, I am making this petition for Disney+ to Restore the "Willow" Show!
