In 2026, urge the GA Senate to pass SB 303 protect your vote
The Issue
SB 303 was not passed to the House this legislative session in GA and so won't get passed in 2025. Encourage your Senator and Representative to re-introduce this legislation in 2026.
Trust. Civil Rights. Electors in Georgia deserve to have their legal votes count. Please support election integrity by calling the Chairman of the GA State Senate's Ethics Committee, GA State Senator Sam Watson's staff at 404-656-0065 and RESPECTFULLY ask him to support SB 303 and ASK for its PROMPT HEARING on the GA Senate floor.
Here is a Summary of the objectives of SB 303:
- Amend Chapter 2 of Title 21 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated;
- Make the State Election Board responsible for the certification and selection of election systems (O.C.G.A. § 21-2-30);
- Make hand-marked and hand-counted paper ballots a voting system just like GA used to have for decades. Voting machines in GA were only rolled-out Statewide in 2019!
Please THANK the GA State Senators sponsoring SB 303 who are fighting hard for each and every legitimate vote to count in GA elections:
- Sen. Colton Moore (53rd District) @ (404) 656-0256
- Sen. Steve Gooch (51st District) @ (404) 656-9221
- Sen. Greg Dolezal (27th District) @ (404) 656-0040
Other topics to discuss with your GA State Senator:
- Why does GA pay a private for-profit corporation called Electronic Registration Information Center, Inc. (ERIC) based out of Washington, D.C. to have SOLE CONTROL over GA's voter rolls?
Let's restore the power of voter roll management to the local election clerks who are answerable to US! Reference O.C.G.A. § 21-2-224. - Why is the GA Sec. of State operating a STORE? Why is the "store" not even a .gov website? Why the GA Sec. of State SELL a copy of the voter roll for $485 EACH when Washington D.C. will let you download theirs for FREE!
- Ask why GA electors CANNOT get a copy of the "qualified voter list" list for any election? It's not possible to obtain this list in violation of GA State Law (O.C.G.A. § 21-4-4). You can pay a "qualifying fee" for elected office through the store but you CANNOT get a qualified voter list which is required by law to know how many qualified voters were registered just prior to any given election in GA.
- Why does GA have a "motor voter" law (i.e., O.C.G.A. § 21-2-221)?
- Why does GA have "open primaries" (i.e., O.C.G.A. § 21-2-224(d)) where anyone can choose the candidate for any political party?
Please ask friends & neighbors to do same!!
