Good Morning! I have seen a lot of people saying the parking isn’t that bad and people are just lazy. It’s not a matter of laziness. It’s a matter of there is only a matter of time before people have to get to their destination on campus from where they park. Having to park in a lot far from where your class is, even getting there early, and barely getting to classes on time. We believe that this needs changed, because we shouldn’t risk getting a ticket over getting to class on time. As a school, they should prioritize students getting to class on time and not have an every day struggle to find a parking spot. Even at night when working students come home from work, if there is a game there is no parking to be found. Considering all “housing” parking is multi-permit in most cases including the most used Wellness Parking Lot. Some housing buildings don’t even HAVE parking. We deserve a spot if we are paying $200 for a permit. Daily students risk getting a ticket because there is no parking anywhere else. And considering if you get more than 3 tickets that’s more than the permit itself. So please, push this petition out and make change for our school!
