Hope you're all well & staying warm. I wanted to share with you an article I found via Animal Legal Defense Fund. Their petition spurred change. USDA's improvement in tracking animal deaths from licensed facilities like Olympic Game Farm and other roadside zoos, is a good step forward.
As for an update on the Washington State Supreme Court case. Here's a link to ALDF's Opening Brief in regards to allowing the public nuisance claim in the case: ALDF Opening Brief. Just be aware that there are specific descriptions of animal cruelty that may trigger sensitive readers.
ALDF lists strong previous case law where public nuisance was allowed in similar cases. They also list other courageous people who have spoken up for these poor animals for so many years, including complaints to Mark Ozias, USDA, Fish and Wildlife, etc. It's time the remaining animals be transferred to a legitimate sanctuary and shut this hell hole down!
