I want to start by showing my immense gratitude to those who have signed & are still signing & sharing this petition! It shows not only your empathy for these animals, but your courage to do what is right in a world that treats animals as objects & don't deserve any rights. During my research & with the updates I shared with all of you, I couldn't help but wonder what the heck is going on!? How on earth are people allowed to treat animals so poorly & cruelly in this day in age!? How are companies like Disney & Trip Advisor supporting & promoting this? Do they really want to represent themselves in this manner? Why isn't USDA protecting these animals like they are supposed to? Etc. Etc. On this update I want to share with all of you that I'm realizing more, each time I do more research, that the issue is much bigger than just cruel people who will hurt any being for a dollar. We need to nip the issue at the bud. Not only are the animal laws grotesquely weak & those exploiting these & other animals in similar or worse situations heartless, selfish humans, but the bud(s), in this case, are the consumers...US! Maybe not you specifically, but those in power would not be in power if it weren't for our choice to support them. It is up to US to stop this abuse on animals by NOT visiting these zoos, circuses, races, rodeos, etc. Wherever there is animal exploitation & cruelty, it is up to US NOT to support this & NOT support companies that promote or support this cruelty! To take it on to a next level, it is up to US to use our voices to help these animals by sharing & raising awareness! Talk to your friends, family, coworkers, etc. Let them know how & why there is nothing positive in visiting & supporting these horrific abuses toward animals. There are legitimate sanctuaries out there that do need our support so that they can help give a better life for the animals they've rescued from situations like the animals of Olympic Game Farm. Many of these sanctuaries allow for visitors too & have great volunteering options. When US people stand up against to what is considered the "norm" & speak up for change, change happens! So please take the time to contact Disney, USDA, Trip Advisor, Olympic Game Farm & any other organization you know are exploiting animals & let them know that your voice matters & that you will make sure it will be heard for the animals' sake! This action can help strengthen the laws for all animals. I will continue to do my part for the animals at OGF. This November I will be attending an event where I hope to get some guidance on how to proceed with this petition. I have many questions & hope to come back with homework to help these & other animals. I will continue to keep you updated. Thank you for reading & for all your support!
