Improve the US Visa Scheduling Website for Lawful Indian Nationals

The Issue

I am a lawful Indian national living in the USA, and like many others, I have been struggling with the https://www.usvisascheduling.com/ website for months. The website throws numerous errors at every step of the process preventing anybody from getting an appointment. I have never in my life come across a more buggy website. Despite numerous sleepless nights spent trying to secure an appointment, my efforts have been met with non-responsive customer support. Hours of waiting on phone lines that never connect and countless unanswered emails have only added to my distress. To make matters worse, tickets are closed without resolution and available appointment slots are few and far between.

This situation has created a significant barrier for me and others like me who need to renew our visas in order to travel for work or visit family back home in India. The stress of not being able to fulfill these basic needs is overwhelming.

The current system is failing us - lawful Indian nationals who contribute significantly to the American economy and society. According to a report by New American Economy (NAE), as of 2018, more than 2 million immigrants from India were living in the United States contributing $133 billion in spending power (source: NAE).

This issue is not limited to work visa (H1b) but also extends to every type of visa. Student visas (F1), Tourists and business visas (B1,B2) and people seeking a variety of other visas are stuck hanging in uncertainty and anxiety.
We urge those responsible for managing this website - U.S Department of State's Bureau of Consular Affairs - to take immediate action towards improving its functionality so that we can schedule appointments efficiently without unnecessary stress or delay.

Please sign this petition if you believe that all lawful residents deserve fair access to visa renewal services regardless of their nationality. Your signature will help bring attention to this pressing issue affecting thousands across America today.
