Well... some of you may have already heard the news but it's gaining more momentum heading into the weekend here.
I had sent an update/alert about this back closer to when it happened, but for those who perhaps missed it, allow me to bring you up to speed.
The Surprise City Councilmember out of District 2, Alyson "Aly" Cline, unlawfully removed some signs I had hung up to bring awareness to this petition, my website (https://thegrandfailure.org), the advocacy efforts surrounding our traffic issues, and most concerningly, signs I had also hung up attempting to get another choice on the ballot for the mayoral seat she is gunning for right now in the upcoming July 30th election.

Since this story first broke the news, I have made some other unfortunate discoveries about Councilmember Cline's recent activities at some of her monthly meetings with constituents where. while she is on official City Council duties and there as a Councilmember and not a candidate, she is campaigning AND disparaging her opponent. I've included the clips I cut on YouTube below, which also have the applicable Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) listed out before we cut to Cline and her speech segments. I'll also post the links to the video of her admitting to tearing down my signs back on March 27th in case you have not yet viewed those either.

Now who you vote for is your own concern and your own choice. I encourage you to make sure you are registered and prepared to vote in the next Surprise City Election, which takes place on JULY 30TH. If you aren't registered to vote, you can go to https://beballotready.org to register. But as far as being an informed group of voters goes, I would be remissed if I didn't share these recent events with you.
