Improve Storm Drainage and Resurface Roads in Midway Hollow Neighborhood
The Issue
As a Midway Hollow resident, my home suffers from poor storm drainage. Excess runoff damages foundations and turns my backyard into a stream.
Our streets, poorly surfaced and lacking high points, become slick, algae-covered hazards. This threatens property and safety—water from Midway Hollows high points leaves us splashing through puddles, risking slips and accidents.
These issues threaten our properties and our safety. We respectfully ask the Dallas City Council to:
- Install more/efficient storm drainage systems to channel runoff properly.
- Resurface our roads with raised centers for better water flow and safer travel.

Submit as many requests as you can. This is recommended by both Dallas Water Utilities and our local City Council Representatives staff, Omar Narvaez.
