Improve Stagecoach bus service schedule from Farnsfield to other towns

The Issue

We as a Youth Council have been discussing the need for bus services to terminate later than 7-8pm. Specifically the SA (Worksop - New Ollerton - Nottingham) and 28 (Mansfield - Newark).

For people of all demographs where driving isnt an option, public transport is imperative to avoiding social isolation. The price of learning to drive and the cost of running a vehicle is ever-increasing, not to mention the environmental impact that using a car for every journey has.

On Sundays, the SA only comes every 2 hours through Farnsfield making socialising and commuting to work restricted.

With job prospects being limited in the village, a bus that terminates later in the evening is ideal for young people starting jobs as well as adults who already commute to work in a car.

Signing this petition would help move towards improved public transport for residents of Farnsfield and beyond as well as gaining the attention of Nottinghamshire County Council, who can make this change happen.
