As a road user with 15 years of driving experience, I consistently find the turn from Russell st onto Interstate 26 towards Charleston, SC, distressingly challenging due to the lack of clear signage and adequate lighting. This is not just my personal experience, but one echoed by many individuals in our community - parents, students, and daily commuters. The inadequacy of both the signage and lighting makes this turn particularly dangerous in low-light conditions, contributing to the overall lack of confidence and constant uneasiness we experience while navigating this spot. Considering the significance of this route for our community, I believe a comprehensive evaluation for improvements is imperative. 

Specifically, I propose the installation of larger, more visible signs and improved lighting. Visual cues are critical for safe driving, and proper signage and illumination can help reduce anxiety and enhance safety for road users. It's not just about our comfort, but our safety and well-being as well.
