I am a 10th grade student at Fox Chapel Area High School. The section of Field Club Road between Powers Run Road and Field Club Ridge Road is extremely dangerous for pedestrians. Many students are well within walking distance from the school but are unable to walk to school because of this dangerous section.

The goal is to make the township install a sidewalk, protected foot path, or just a wider shoulder on this road. This would allow students and residents to walk to various places such as the schools, community center, community swim club, and even the cafe on Powers Run Road.

The safety of students and residents should be a priority.
