Within the last few years streaming services and the content they produce have taken a nose dive. With every year past we slip further and further from the golden age of television, with only a handful of shows being made that justify the ever increasing cost of monthly subscriptions. I believe Invincible to be one of these shows, a different take on the superhero genre that's a breath of fresh air from properties like DC and Marvel. However since it's airing on Amazon Prime over the course of the first three seasons has seen a noticeable drop in quality, according to the executive producer of the show this stems from the shows lack of budget. Despite this though Amazon still sees fit to tout Invincible as one of their flagship shows and big selling points for Amazon prime. As of now the show is set to air for a total of 8 seasons with the action and set pieces only ramping up further, but if the budget stays as is many scenes of high quality from the comics will be given the minimal treatment just to meet deadlines. To counter this and help make sure this very popular show gets the attention and money it deserves, I suggest Amazon cuts the overinflated budget of a show that nearly no one asked for and even less like the rings of power. Having just released their second season to dwindling viewership as compared to the first season it's clear that this show is on the fall. And despite this they still maintain an egregiously large budget, while on the opposite side Invincible seems to be winding up with each season bringing in more and more viewers with each season but still having only a fraction of the budget. If Amazon where to change ROP budget from 58 million an episode to a still massively high 45 million per episode and allocate those funds to the Invincible team it could make a world of difference. With the end of the third season near it's time for a change to be made at Amazon to make sure that this ever popular show gets the recognition and the budget that it deserves.
