I am a resident of Holiday Village Road and I have personally experienced the impacts of the inadequate infrastructure and public services in our area. Many times, I have watched helplessly as school buses get stuck in the congestion, causing distress to young students who are simply trying to get an education or go back home after school. Families in our area are burdened by the high costs of vehicle repairs caused by bad road conditions and the medical expenses stemming from health issues related to the poor air quality. 

I'm not alone in this. Thousands of people living in Biyanapalya, Vajarahalli and Mallasandra and hundreds of students from Kumaran's school and KSSEM are suffering due to this issue. We therefore, urge the Commissioner, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), the Chairman, Bangalore Development Authority (BDA), the Chairman, Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB), the Managing Director, Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM), and the Deputy Commissioner of Police – Traffic, to prioritize infrastructure and facilities improvements. 

This is not just an appeal for a better living condition for us as individuals; it is a plea for the future of our children and the betterment of our city.

We kindly request Shri. S.T. Somashekar, Hon’ble MLA, Yeshwantapura Constituency, Smt. Shobha Karandlaje, Hon’ble MP, Bangalore North, and the office of the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Karnataka, to back our petition.
