Regret the delay in sharing updates—I'm currently out of town. That said, the situation on Holiday Village Road has worsened significantly and needs our urgent and undivided attention.

Residents have reported extremely dangerous conditions, especially during rains. Waterlogging is masking deep potholes, making it nearly impossible for two-wheeler riders and auto drivers to maintain balance. One resident shared how they narrowly avoided a serious accident as their vehicle veered suddenly while trying to avoid an unseen pothole. Drivers of four-wheelers are also struggling to navigate this treacherous stretch.

Particularly concerning is the plight of delivery personnel who brave this stretch daily under tight timelines. The worst affected portion is the stretch opposite KSIT and the new food court, which was completely submerged today. In one incident near Sattva this morning, a delivery boy barely managed to stop his bike from skidding on the slippery surface while avoiding a pothole.

The road has now become a safety hazard—not just an inconvenience. It’s no exaggeration to say lives are at stake.

We strongly urge the MLA and BBMP to take immediate action tomorrow itself—dewater the flooded sections and fill the potholes without any further delay.
