Yesterday, a vegetable vendor – a healthy woman under 50 – tragically lost her life due to severe lung infection, confirmed by doctors to be caused by prolonged exposure to dust. She used to sit near the Government School, next to the water purifier shop.

This isn't just a statistic. It's a life lost due to neglect – of the broken, dusty roads and lack of basic civic responsibility.

How many more lives do we have to lose before action is taken?

We urge the concerned authorities to immediately address the dangerously damaged stretch of Holiday Village Road and control the dust levels that are slowly but surely claiming lives.
