The issue

My name is Karly Morrow. I have started this petition because of how many lives are being lost & how many men & women of aboriginal descent are being mistreated. As you may have seen on the news recently an aboriginal lady by the name of Veronica Nelson died alone in police custody after crying for hours for help as she was experiencing extreme pain. RIP to Veronica Nelson. May she Rest In Peace. May this show the world how cruel the system can be. I have personally watched the system mistreat aboriginal women & men from my own family and other families. We need to change the way these people are categorised based on their colour or their nationality. We are all human, we all deserve the same treatment. The system needs to change or we are going to continue to lose more black lives in custody. These people deserve the right to receive the help they are asking for and to be treated as well as any other person in custody or dealing with the system. Please sign & share if you can! Try to help us make a change for the families who have lost someone in custody & for the men & women who are still being mistreated by the system. Every signature & share helps! Thank you ❤️
