Improve Bus Route 65 Management for Timely Commute

Improve Bus Route 65 Management for Timely Commute
The Issue
As a local Brentford resident, my personal experience mirrors numerous complaints about the bus service in our area. More specifically, bus number 65 -Kingston to Ealing Broadway- often terminates its service prematurely at stop BT (Great West Road), leaving commuters stranded and forced to wait for another bus to reach the final destination, Ealing Broadway. This situation frequently occurs during the morning rush hours, causing schoolchildren and professionals alike to be very late.
My son, like many other students, is frequently late for school as the bus service which should support his commute too often fails in its duty. I’m confident that several more residents face similar situations every day, leading to irritation and inconvenience in what should be a smooth, public transportation experience.
While public transport is inevitably subject to delays, the almost systematic issue with the bus route 65 termination has brought the local community to its wits' end. A wait of 30 to 60 minutes, often in chilly morning conditions, is not an infrequent occurrence. The stacking of several buses, one behind the other, and their subsequent return to Kingston without completing the route, presents a clear operation efficiency issue that needs immediate attention.
We are not asking for any extraordinary measures, only for the bus route 65 service to fulfil its own established journey, ensuring passengers reach Ealing Broadway without unwanted delays or detours. Accessibility and reliability of public transportation should be a public right, not a daily guess.
The local community deserves an efficient, reliable, and properly managed public transport service, particularly at peak times. We urge the relevant transport authorities to investigate and address this issue with urgency. Please sign this petition to improve the management of Bus Route 65 and ensure a better, timely commute for Brentford residents.
