Improve access of HOA pool

Improve access of HOA pool
The Issue
‼️Hidden Trails Community residents are paying for pools they can’t even use‼️
LENNAR ‼️ CCMC MANAGEMENT ‼️
This is our 2nd petition. Previous petition in 2025 with 548 signatures was successful.
Our families in Hidden Trails deserve the full enjoyment of our neighborhood amenities just like Johnson Ranch which is run by the same management company. Their pool has been open since spring break. Every three months, we contribute $350 in homeowners association (HOA) fees, which not only covers maintenance but also grants access to amenities like our community pool. However, the current policy restricts pool access to weekends only (Saturday and Sundays starting April 4th). With the temperatures soaring, this is a much-needed resource for relaxation and leisure during the week as well.
This limitation restricts our children and families from utilizing a space that is meant for community bonding and enjoyment. Our dues in 2020 were roughly $190 and we never had pool monitors. Now we pay $350 so there should be enough budget to have a consistent pool schedule every year during the week + weekends April-October. Unfortunately our rate has almost doubled in 5 years for less services. This is not fair to the neighborhood and our bank accounts. We all work hard to be able to live in this neighborhood and pay our HOA fees. Furthermore this is discriminating seniors, homeschoolers, stay at home parents and residents that have to work weekends who are now not able to use the pool. This might even scare future buyers/renters away when they find out how little the pool actually stays open. There is not a single community in Texas where pool hours are this restricted and open only full time June and July. Additionally, it can help foster a stronger sense of community as more residents are likely to interact and socialize while making use of the pool during the week.
We recognize that opening the pool during the week may incur additional costs or administrative planning for the HOA. However, there are several sustainable solutions.
By signing this petition, you are advocating for reasonable and enhanced accessibility to an amenity that is already funded by our dues. Let us work together to urge the HOA to reconsider its policies and allow us to enjoy the pool to its full potential. Please sign this petition to inspire change and let our voices be heard.
