One of the main channels for spreading propaganda and disinformation to Western audiences are organizations controlled by the federal agency Rossotrudnichestvo, known as the Russian House, Centers of Russian Culture, etc. These organizations are a network of Kremlin agents that mask their activities for cultural projects.

With Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, more than 80 Rossotrudnichestvo organizations around the world - both as public organizations and in diplomatic status - are intentionally and in sync distributing Kremlin propaganda about war crimes in Ukraine, Russian military atrocities in Bucha, Mariupol and other cities in order to justify aggression against Ukraine, influence the politics of Western countries and undermine trust between European states.

We call on the European Commission, the European Council, and the national governments of the EU member states to ban the activities of organizations, representative offices and branches of the federal agency Rossotrudnichestvo on the territory of the European Union.
