This time last year the horrendous Australian fires had commenced in NSW. My friend Ana from Amberdrop honey live in the central coast of NSW. Last year Ana set up a fundraiser to assist beekeepers who had lost beehives in the fire.

Thank you everyone who donated we managed to raise over $58000 helping suffering beekeepers in NSW , Kangaroo Island , Victoria , Western Australia and Queensland.

$57000 was paid out some beekeepers received $10000 others only requested $600.
The remaining funds remain in the account for future beekeepers effected by fires.

Ana’s generosity made such a difference in other peoples lives. Despite being in the pathway of the fire and losing 30 hives in the fires and 30 hives in flash flooding @amberdrophoney did not take any money out of the fund. Last year a lot of markets were closed because of COVID that also effected their income. A great way to support Ana and Sven is to buy some of their pristine honey.
