Until a few weeks ago I was expecting a 3 week trial that if represented would have cost a fortune.
I was quoted $8,000 a day for a lawyer and if I included a barrister I was quoted $23,000 a day.
Despite my lawyer Jeremy Pytel knowing that my funds had run out he did not abandon me and he managed to settle the case.
I have not been able to pay Jeremy since November when he last appeared on my behalf in the Supreme court.
Jeremy has halved his usual fee and my outstanding bill of $16,000 to him is now $8,000. I am also greatful they have also given me flexibility in paying this debt.
I am raising funds so I can move on with Oscar and continue campaigning for bees and beekeepers. This includes the fight against Bayer (Monsanto) and the toxic bee chemicals they produce like Neonicotinoids and #Glyphosate. Also the toxic mosquito programs happening around Australia. Last year we successfully stopped the MorningtonPenisula being sprayed.

With over 100000 followers on facebook and a petition with over 200000 galvanised we are a powerful force to contend with . Even more powerful after undergoing this experience.
