The new owners of Capilano  have announced they will no longer sell its ‘Allowrie' branded honey! (*foreign blended honey)

(Capilano has not yet announced that it will stop selling imported honey completely… but this is a great start.)

Congratulations everyone who has liked posts, signed petitions, changed purchasing habits, supported their local beekeeper and donated to my court battle.

If you are aware of anyone who purchased Allowrie branded honey tell them to keep the jar. There are rumours of a class action to compensate consumers.

Bizarrely Capilano Ltd are still suing me and another journalist Shane Dowling in the Supreme Court for telling the Australian public it sells blended honey foreign ingredients. I hope its new owners are wise enough to cease the litigation and to strive alongside savethebeesaustralia to lift the reputation of Australian honey.
