Hi all

You may have seen notices up around the village regarding intended works to remove the narrowing points on Main St and to build new roadwide speed bumps to slow traffic.

I understand LCC has received 2 or 3 objections to the plans, but as discussed with them, you can never please all of the people all of the time.  Because of this, they are forced to consult further with the objectors.

I would hope that the dissenting voices of a couple of people do not outweigh the silent majority (most if not all of us), otherwise there will NEVER be any real actions taken to reduce speeds through the village.  

Please keep being vocal about issues and let's make sure these works happen- as a first step towards improvements
