Implement taxpayer reward system for India's 2% income tax payers

However, their efforts often go unnoticed, and their contributions unrewarded.
We propose a solution: a Taxpayer Reward System in the form of a tiered Taxpayer Privilege Card. This system would offer non-cash benefits such as expedited services, priority access in government dealings, and symbolic recognition of taxpayer contributions. While the goal is not to create inequality, it aims to enhance the overall experience of paying taxes in a practical, affordable, and motivating manner.
This proposal would serve dual purposes: firstly, acknowledging and appreciating the consistent contributions of honest taxpayers, and secondly, encouraging voluntary compliance to expand the tax base. Implementing such a reward system could improve morale and inspire a sense of community responsibility, which is essential for robust national development.
